This is one of 3 afghans I am currently working on. This one will take me the longest. The pattern is simple....its the EDGING that is going to be a killer. Its not only very ornate, its crocheted SEPARATELY from the afghan and then SEWED on! I have never done that before so I sure hope I dont have too much trouble with it. I am a little more than halfway done the center section. I had to stop tonight because I ran out of yarn :) I'll pick up m0re this week.

looks great sandy, that edging sounds interesting, I've never heard of crocheting it seperate, then sewing it on.
Hi my Sandy friend!
Your crochet is lovely.

Hi, Sandy!
I loved your visit. Yours posts are very important for me. Do you believe that I still did not have time to see the videos. I received a lot of messages . And nobody had said to me that the music are intervening with the sound of the video. I removed the music immediately.
Tanks so much for your tip.
I loved its visit.

Hi, I crochet and I don't need a kit to tell me how to make and afghan. I am interested in getting the pattern. will check back in the next few days - e-mail me at lalillquist@gmail.com if you want to contact - thanks - it is a beautiful afghan
did you ever finish this? i'm working on the edging and it's a nightmare. i searched for anastasia on your blog and didn't find any other posts about it. thanks.
Hi, Mari....no I havent finished it yet. As a matter of fact, I recently pulled it out of the closet to start working on again. But not sure when I will be able to get back to it with working on gifts for the holidays. I had a feeling the edging might be a bit daunting. I'll let you know if it got so bad I frogged it. :D
Thanks, Sandy. I think I've figured out what I was doing wrong on the edging (lead to ripping out 3/4 of what I'd done on the edging so far). I'm definitely interested in seeing pictures of the edge's corners. Hope yours goes smoother than mine.
Sandy:
Did you ever finish the Anastasia afghan? I am currently working on the edging, which is not that difficult until I got to Row 73-76. They want me to repeat Rows 3-6 and the pattern for Row 6 does not match the instructions for Row 3! I am having a time with this as there is no photo of the corner to try and figure out what they want me to do!
I tossed and turned all night thinking of this problem and decided to check the Internet to see if there were any corrections to the pattern.
If you finished the pattern, did you make any notes on it as it would certainly help me to try and figure out where to go with Rows 73-76.
Thanks.
