I got a couple photos from my friend of some holiday projects I completed. These scarves are my own design and were given to a couple ladies on my b/f's side of the family. I had fun making them and I might make myself one....it would come in handy. When I do, I will copy down the pattern and put it on my pattern page.
The first scarf was made from Bernat Worsted....the big skeins. The blue one was made with Simply Soft. I call it the "Teacher's Friend" because I wish I had had one when I was teaching...would have helped at recess time. :)

My favorite is the Bernat. Such fun colors. Do you just fold up the bottom and do the side seams?? I don't like to seam, but I love your look!
Nice gifts!!!
Hi, Sandy!
Nice jobs!
I'm happy with your visit.
You can use my patterns. You can use the photos you want. I am happy to be helpful.
Hugs with affection,

Kathy, sorry I didnt get back to you sooner...thanks for the comments. I edge the entire scarf in slip stitch and use that to seam the pockets as I go along. Then I center 14" of stitches, fold the edges together and whip stitch them so the center will slip under the collar of a coat or fit comfortably around the back of the neck. :)
Nice jobs, beautiful blog!!! Zelia
