Cutting it Close

Here it is....the hoodie sweater I have been working on for the past month. It didnt take me a month to finish it....I got kinda tired of it after I was about 1/2 done and put it aside. But little A's birthday is tomorrow so I was under the gun. Worked on it every day this week and I just finished it this evening. Thank goodness. This was one of the biggest PITA projects I ever did. It was sewing a shirt except you had to make the FABRIC as well as fit it properly and sew it all together. But the finished product is worth the effort, I think. It was good practice too.

Now its on to less stressful stuff :)

The pattern is a Coats and Clarks freebie. You can find it here. The yarn is Bernat Satin Sport in Meadow.
ETA- I swapped out the original pic for this one of A modeling her new hoodie....isn't she cute!?

That looks great! One of these days, I plan on crocheting a hoodie sweater for my daughter, too. So many projects, so little time! : )

Thank you all, ladies :) I know little A's mother loved it...A was more interested in the Disney Princess figurines she got..he,he.. But thats ok...I know she will get some use out of her...and so will her sister, since they are so close in size. Their mother said she was putting her order in for one, so I going to look for a similar pattern for a lady and maybe make her one for next Christmas....that will give me enough time...I think :)

Hi Sandy!
Beautiful jacket!
O love it!!!
I went to Coats & Clark and saved the pattern. I'll try to do for my son.
I'm working on a bag (another one :D) for my cousin and then I'll start it!
Great job!
