Needs Good Home

This is the afghan I decided to make out of my 30+ year old yarn I got at Jefferson Ward....remember THAT store?? Anyway except for the pattern changes from changing skeins, it came out nice. I had to buy a skein for the edging but that was ok. Finished size is approx. 41" x 33". So now I need to find a charity group that would like it. Anyone have an idea or a group I could send it to. Let me know. Thanks :)

Your fingers have been flying again. Both ghans look great--doesn't it feel good to use up "old" yarn. Any one would be glad for such a nice donation.

Speed demon I tell ya! I remember Montgomery Wards, but not Jefferson Ward. Maybe they're brothers LOL.

You might try your local convalescent home or senior citizens center. I'm sure they'd LOVE to have it!

Thank you, ladies :)

Mini, Jefferson Ward WAS owned by Montgomery Ward...it was their discount store division. :)

I'll check around and see who would like the ghan. Its not a real soft yarn...back then I dont think there were ANY soft acrylic yarns, but someone might appreciate it.

Hi, my beloved friend Sandy!
That good for receiving its visit in mine blog from bijoux. I was very happy. You not wise person that I make bijoux? Bijoux to the times I make for to sell. The type of bijoux that I make is valued here in Brazil. Use stones always natural. Use material always good. Optimum that meeting. To the times until silver. I make research of what if this using. Of what this being launched for the next station to the year. Boutiques bigger if interests. I make only parts. For this reason I obtain a good price. I have not made always. My family has complained of mess in the table.
Now I am planning a reform in my apartment. The room of house servant I will transform into studio.
It always comes back!
Hugs with affection,
Sônia Maria
